CDW Urges Senate HELP to Advance NLRB Nominees

On June 10, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace sent a letter to the Senate HELP Committee thanking them for holding a hearing on President Trump’s nominations to serve on the NLRB and urging them to quickly advance the nominees to a vote.

The following can be attributed to CDW Chair Kristen Swearingen:

“The Senate HELP Committee should move quickly to advance President Trump’s nominees to the NLRB. The Board cannot function effectively without a quorum, and a lapse in a quorum at the agency would deepen the Board’s current case backlog, leave more workers and employers in legal limbo, and weaken the Board’s ability to stabilize labor-relations and provide clarity to workers and employers alike. We urge the Committee to quickly advance these nominees.”
