On February 6, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace and 42 employer organizations sent a letter to the full US Senate urging they reject the policies contained in Senator Hawley’s (R-MO) anti-worker legislative framework.

The following can be attributed to CDW Chair Kristen Swearingen:

“The policies included in Senator Hawley’s framework are not pro-worker, but instead are pro-union, benefiting unions at the expense of workers and employers alike. The policies would be disastrous for the economy, would violate workers’ and employers’ rights, and have been rejected by voters, members on both sides of the aisle, and President Trump. These policies will silence debate in union organizing drives, deprive workers of vital information on potential unionization, and allow for government interference into private contracts. None of these policies should be implemented or supported, and we urge Senators to reject them.”
