Washington, D.C. – On April 11, the Senate confirmed John Ring to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Ring was a partner at the law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius and co-leader of the firm’s Labor/Management Relations Practice. Ring was nominated on January 12, and, with his confirmation, will reinstate a Republican majority on the Board. The Coalition for a Democratic Workplace released the following statement from Chair Kristen Swearingen:

CDW hopes the full NLRB can now move forward, resolve the issues currently before the Board, and provide stability for the employer and employee communities on the important labor relations issues facing them today.”
