Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed the appointment of Marvin Kaplan for the National Labor Relations Board.  In response to the announcement, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace released the following statement from Chair Kristen Swearingen:

“Marvin Kaplan will be a tremendous asset to the National Labor Relations Board.  With its balance restored, the NLRB is expected to operate in a manner that is fair to workers, unions and employers.  The Senate must now move quickly to confirm the second nominee William Emanuel.

“CDW applauds the Senate for the quick confirmation of this outstanding nominee and congratulates President Trump on this giant step in the right direction for American employees, employers and the economy.”
