Washington, D.C. – On June 22, the Minnesota District Court denied the plaintiff’s request for a preliminary injunction in Labnet v U.S. Department of Labor. Nonetheless, the court did find that the persuader rule most likely violates the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA). While the court’s decision doesn’t provide immediate and temporary relief, the ruling indicates that it will eventually overturn the rule.
