CDW: Pass The ‘Boeing Bill’

Employers Embrace Bill To Rein In Reckless NLRB

WASHINGTON, D.C. // JULY 28, 2011 // Today, the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace announced it has sent a letter to Capitol Hill requesting Members of the House of Representatives pass the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act (H.R. 2587). The law would ensure that job creators can choose where and how to make workforce investments without fear that the National Labor Relations Board will continue the anti-employer activism being witnessed in the infamous Boeing case.

The letter reads, in part, “we urge you to support the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act and to use every tool available to stop these rogue agencies from implementing policies to appease a single special interest at the expense of workers, businesses and our economy.”

More than 200 local, state, and national organizations signed the letter and many leading employer associations which comprise CDW’s wide-ranging membership will key-vote the Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act.
