Board Denies Reasonable Time for Comments on Massive Regulation

Today, Coalition for a Democratic Workplace chairman Geoffrey Burr released the following statement in reaction to the National Labor Relations Board’s refusal to extend the comment period for its proposed regulations to institute ambush or “quickie” elections favored by Big Labor bosses:

“The NLRB has shown yet again today that it’s willing to ambush workers and employees. It’s telling that the Board will not allow proper time for stakeholders to weigh in on the proposed rules, which will ensure employers don’t have sufficient time to educate employees and union bosses can organize without having to offer all the facts.

“Today’s news is further evidence that Obama’s NLRB has disdain for both employees, employers, and job creation. Their only interest is in pleasing a special interest, Big Labor.”
